We were contacted today by a new customer who had bought a CCTV off the internet and got his electrician to install it. That was just 6 months ago, but now it’s not working and he doesn’t know how to fix it – nor does the electrician. He is also unable to get technical support from the manufacturers as it was bought from abroad. Many things can go wrong with CCTV systems and the remote viewing facility, including changes to IP addresses, replacing routers, broadband updating firmware on routers etc.
