Unwelcome Night-time Visitors!

We have just booked an Engineer to carry out repairs and fully service an existing alarm at a new customer’s home.  The homeowner got the fright of her life the other night when she investigated a noise coming from the front door – which she had just locked – to see a crowbar coming through her letterbox!  Her family moved into the house over 2 years ago and the alarm was working, but then there were some problems with it and so they just left the alarm not working. Like so many of us with busy lives, they put the matter on the back burner!  This customer also informed us that the front bell box/siren does not have a company logo on it which brings us to the conclusion that it was not installed by a professional alarm company and has probably not been serviced over the years.  We guess that burglars come to the same conclusion and take the risk by trying to break in.
